Shelley Malil was apprehended by authorities for attacking his former girlfriend. The actor was taken into custody on Monday in San Diego.
He was headed for a meeting with his lawyer to discuss whether or not to turn himself in after his girlfriend was found injured in San Marcos on Sunday night.
She was hospitalized and was in critical condition Monday morning. The police had no information on her condition the next day.
He recently appeared in “The 40 Year Old Virgin.” Malil was booked on very serious charges including attempted murder, and burglary. He was then taken to the County Detention Center.
