United States Law enforcement officials charged Broadcom co-founder Henry T. Nicholas III with federal crimes for stock fraud and drugs.In United States Federal Court, the Grand Jury indictments were unsealed and reveal the charges against him. There were a total of twenty five counts.Each count allege a seperate criminal charge. There were numerous felonies the worst of which were conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance, securities fraud and giving false statements to the SEC. If the he is found guility of these charges he faces the potential of decades of jail time.

The federal court sentencing guidelines are quite strict and is based on a pont system. The more points the more time in prison you do. Nicholas’ attorney did not make any comment on the indictment or the specific charges that the indictment alleges. Robert Chambers, the “preppie killer,” who served 15 years in prison for strangling a woman in Central Park during what he said was rough sex is headed back into custody for a drug offense.

Robert Chambers pleaded guilty Monday criminal sale of a controlled substance and assault on a police officer. Chambers and his companion were arrested in October 2007 in an undercover operation at their NYC apartment on charges of dealing cocaine. Robert Chambers’ girlfriend, Shawn Kovell, stated in state Supreme Court a few months ago that she and Chambers sold drugs to an undercover detective. Under the terms of her deal, she was was remanded to a rehabilitation center. When she completes her program she will be permitted to withdraw the guilty plea and plead to a lesser charge. This will allow Kovell to receive a sentence of probation. Her lawyer said that she was a drug addict at that particilar time and that it was her first arrest.

Chambers became a tabloid favorite after the death of Jennifer Levin as they engaged in a sexual encounter in New York’s Central Park. She was a graduate of the Baldwin School and was just 18 years old. The murder created headlines and the fact he was a good looking, privileged prep school youth who went bad added to the sexiness of the story.

Chambers pleaded guilty in 1988 to manslaughter and was released in 2003. He served the maximum 15 years because of discipline problems behind bars which included drug dealing.

Steve-O known for performing Evil Knievel like stunts has pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine.

The case will be dismissed upon completion of a program which Glover has to take part in. After he completes a drug rehabilitation program, he will be free to resume his antics. His attorney Barry Gerald Sands said that Steve-O is in a program right now and is sorry for his misdeeds.

Former French Open champion Yannick Noah is not fazed that his son Joakim was arrested for possession of marijuana and having an open cup of some sort of alcohol on his person.

The NBA forward and former Florida Gator star was arrested Sunday in Gainesville, Florida. A policeman saw him on a sidewalk holding a plastic cup. After taking Noah to the station they searched him and discovered that he had some marijuana in his pocket.

Yannick Noah didn’t see what the big deal was. He was asked his opinion as he attended The French Open and said he saw nothing wrong with having a beer on the street.

DMX has pleaded not guilty to felony drug possession and misdemeanor animal cruelty charges.

A judge entered the plea for the musician-actor (real name: Earl Simmons) at a brief court hearing Thursday. Simmons was late for court.

The 37-year-old rapper was indicted last week on 11 counts, including marijuana and paraphernalia possession and seven counts of misdemeanor animal cruelty.
