A deranged woman, a distraught father and ex-husband and an extremely confused grandmother all try to make out the details behind the murder of an eight-year-old boy. The father, who lives across the country, said he thought that the grandmother of the child had identified the little boys body. However, he learned after 48 hours that is son’s body remained in the medical examiner’s office without a proper identification. The mother is now considered a criminal and will need legal advice. She apparently murdered her son by feeding him ground up prescription medication.

The mother, who is now in a psyche ward, had emailed a relative indicating that there was a problem. The police burst into the home only to find an incoherent mother babbling, a suicide note suggesting that more information could be found on the computer and an unconscious little boy. The crime lab has the computer and will be examining it for further information.

The Law Firm of Steven Bilkis and Associates and its Nassau County Criminal Lawyers could help a young father determine what and why his ex-wife would commit such a horrible crime. The autopsy was inconclusive and the child’s father who was distraught said the woman was a good mother and he couldn’t imagine why she would do such a thing. The father was also decidedly upset that his son was left unidentified when obviously relatives much closer to the family could have made the identification. According to a Nassau County Criminal Lawyer, he was planning to make the trek across the country to identify the little boy and hopefully gets some answers while planning a burial.

People are using more and more carry on luggage as airlines extend the cost of checking luggage to astronomical rates. And, most travelers prefer to keep valuables with them onboard the plane. However, even stowing your carry-on luggage in the overhead bins is simply not enough to ensure that your valuables are secure. A New York Criminal Lawyer reports that Cybll Shepherd’s son was charged with burglary under these very circumstances.

Cybll Shepherd’s son was in court in Philadelphia for burglary, which occurred by rummaging through passengers carry on bags and taking money, cameras and other valuables. While on a cross-country United Airlines flight, most passengers probably found time to nap and thus losing site of their carry-on bags. And, Cyrus Sheppherd-Oppenheim apparently thought that this would be a great opportunity to pick up a few valuables that didn’t belong to him. He has a trial date of April 20th on theft and other related charges.

Cyrus’s New York Criminal Lawyer expects that this case will end like many others with a pretrial diversion program. According to the attorney, the passengers left the flight with their valuables. This information makes the case against Cyrus more confusing.

Michael Jackson is, was and always will be a pop icon. He is one of those people who will forever live as a legend and most people will remember exactly where they were and what they were doing when they heard the news. Apparently his life wasn’t all roses and amusements parks. The news quickly spread of how he was addicted to medications that would induce sleep as he apparently suffered bouts of serious insomnia. And, although he was preparing for a new tour, his health has been deteriorating for years. And, with that, he sought medical intervention just to get some rest.

That said, his personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, was not only present when Michael Jackson died, he apparently provided CPR for quite some time. And, even that has been suspect since the person calling 911 told the operator that Mr. Jackson was on the bed during the CPR. With all the talk of medications being injected, other medications being purchased under aliases and then the very idea that a medical doctor would allow such to continue regardless of the status of the super star, the general public along with his family found it completely and utterly upsetting to think that Dr. Murray was actually responsible for the death of one of the worlds biggest pop stars. Dr. Murray is definitely going to need help from a New York Criminal Lawyer like those at Steve Bilkis and Associates.

Dr. Murray was making arrangements to turn himself in to the authorities but no agreement regarding the specifics had been reported. Ed Chernoff worked with the Dr. Murray and the District of Attorney’s office regarding Dr. Murray’s whereabouts. The charges, regardless of the severity, are definitely going to make this a high profile criminal case and one which will require a New York Criminal Lawyer.

If you are a regular television viewer you see businessmen and women taking extended lunch breaks and returning to their office after a few drinks. And, depending on the show, you see the actors pull the alcohol from a wet bar they have in one corner of their lavishly decorated upscale office. However, the reality is if you partake of alcohol while on the job, you are going to find yourself without a job at all. If you find yourself in a situation where you’ve been accused of partaking of substances that your job prohibits, you may need a New York Criminal Lawyer to help regain your position and your reputation.

And, if your job is one as an educator or administrator in a local school system then you know the repercussions of returning to school anywhere with even the slightest hint of alcohol on your breath. If you find yourself accused of behavior unbecoming of your profession and you are definitely not at fault, The Law Office of Steven Bilkis and Associates and our New York Criminal Lawyers can help. Reality also brings us to the fact that people aren’t always truthful and in various events that someone is attempting to get rid of an employee or possibly a student-teacher relationship has gone sour, you might find students or parents quick to accuse and often times without cause.

One victim in Brooklyn was a principal who was accused of being drunk by an anonymous source. When this principal was facing the closing of his school and re-assignment due to poor performance, allegations from months ago surfaced. The school system states emphatically that there is no relation between the closing of the school and the accusations. Students and parents alike are adamant that they have never seen behavior in their principal that was inappropriate and most were disappointed to even hear such allegations had been made. When situations arrive like this one, after 24 years of service accusations ring loud and an attorney can help you find a way to make sure that you are represented to the fullest extent.
