Manhattan man makes death threats and needs an experienced New York Criminal Defense Lawyer

by

A Manhattan, NY resident, John Zaubler, has been charged with making threats against Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor. Zaubler called police late one evening and told them he planned on blowing up Sotomayor. His reasoning was if he blew up Sotomayor, his girlfriend would not go to federal prison. Officials say he also claimed he wanted to blow up President Obama. After the call, Zaubler called back from his apartment in the Upper West Side in Manhattan to turn himself in. Police took him to Bellevue Hospital Center located at 462 1st Ave, New York, NY 10016, for psychiatric evaluation. He was still in Bellevue Hospital when he was arraigned via video conference in Manhattan Criminal Court, which is at 100 Centre St. New York, NY 10013. Zaubler had been arrested prior to this for harassment. There is no word yet on whom the woman is that Zaubler was referring to.
